It has been cooler and rainier than we would have liked and we were dissapointed not to have been able to go into the water. At around 6:00 p.m. one night I decided to ride to the other side of the island to see the beaches while Nona relaxed ın our hotel. The trip was about five miles and passed numerous vineyards and small pine forests - which appear all over the place in Turkey. I made it into the Aegean - just barely, though.
